Horror Movie Questionnaire!

You don't have to answer all the following questions, but you do have to answer some. Not only is it MANDATORY, but I'll cry if you don't.

1) Name a horror movie that scared you so bad it stayed with you for a while (or at least made you look behind the shower curtain when you went to the bathroom).

2) What's a vampire movie you like? Doesn't have to be a favorite, just one you dig.

3) What movie do other people think is scary but it doesn't get to you?

RiffTrax covers TWILIGHT

For those who don't know, RiffTrax is the latest incarnation of Mystery Science Theater 3000. It works as downloadable MP3s that you simply play alongside a movie you own or rent. Pretty cool.

Halloween Music Meme (participation is MANDATORY!)

MONSTER MASH-UP - Alright, here’s the deal: you're scoring the trailers for several upcoming horror movies, so put your iPod or MP3 player of choice on shuffle and post the first song you hit for each trailer. That song is the centerpiece of the trailer, and these are the featured monsters:


1) Vampire

4) Slasher
5) Creature from the Black Lagoon (I say it's time for a comeback)

You might want to skip the orchestral stuff to avoid being too on the nose, but the important thing is to then offer up a few lines for each movie explaining how the music fits the trailer. Is it a creepy fit? Does it turn the movie comedic? My test-run will be in the comments.

Downtown entertainment suggestions for Saturday night?

Is your or your friend's band playing? Is there a cool artsy show of a nonmusical nature?

Basically anything but dance clubs...

I'll be one of two photographers in a large mega-shoot event downtown for Metal Dolls with 10 to 15 models, and we're going to be looking to check out the nightlife after the evening shoot. I'd like to have a couple non-touristy suggestions ready so we don't just end up hitting dance club after dance club along 6th street.
