Prince has 3 albums set to drop in 2009, and if this performance is any indicator, there's some great stuff. Check it out; it's pretty cool. Prince even hands off his guitar to some random audience member at the end of the song and walks away without a word.

Tom Petty's among the tribute band playing "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" for George Harrison's induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but it's Prince who really tears it up. Good stuff throughout, but the real ass-kickery starts around 3 minutes, 30 seconds:
