It's awesomely cheesy, but I imagine if I'd watched it as a kid it would have looked like the coolest thing I'd ever seen.

Even though this sprite-animated cartoon looks just like you're watching a video game, I recommend watching it all the way through. It's like underground video game psychedelia! Features guest appearance by Christopher Walken and John Goodman from The Big Lebowski!

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game
If the retro-style looks familiar, you might be remembering the awesome animation of Paul Robertson, posted a few years ago on the blog. He makes animation shorts that look like old beat-em-up games - but with creepy-cool visuals, lots of gore, and stunning animation. I'm gonna repost the best one - Pirate Baby's Cabana Street Fight - later.
Anyway, he's the designer for the Scott Pilgrim game!
