"Jack" cosplay

One of my favorite recruits in MASS EFFECT 2 is the tattooed sociopath, Jack. She's got a great look, and while Google imaging her to show Randy what she looked like, I came across one of the most well done cosplays I've ever seen. Not only does this girl look like Jack, but she devised means to replicate all of Jack's elaborate tattoos and surgical scars.

First, here's a model of the character from the game:

Not the best shot (it's surprisingly tough to find good ones) but you can get the basic look from it. And here's the cosplay chick, pretty much looking like she stepped right off the screen:

You can see by the folds near the elbow in the last one that she actually made a thin bodysuit for the tattoos. She documents the process HERE

Computers? Monitors? Who needs em?

This is what I've been waiting for; it's here... now. Phones with the power of computers that use the environment as a display rather than a screen. Hitting the market this year, I figure a year or two more and they'll be a viable PC replacement option.

You can get the idea in under 20 seconds if you just hop in to the 1 minute mark.

Seriously. Check this out, yo.

Everybody knows I'm a total whore for just about anything Google, and I posted about this specific topic once already, but seriously, check this out, yo.

It's an interactive tour of What Google TV is and what it can do. It'll take up a whole 20 seconds of your life and keep me from making a sad, frowny face.

Mind=Blown for me anyways

The most important advice the blog has ever seen

Did I already post this? Ah, fuck it, it's back if I did!

And now for some Disney horror

Disney's the last place you'd look to for horror, but it seems like they're going there. There's a new Wii-exclusive game coming out under the working title of EPIC MICKEY. It features dystopian Disney settings and eerie, steampunk versions of their characters. I'm posting early concept art for it, and here's the game's premise:

Before Walt Disney created Mickey Mouse, there was Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. That's actual history, not just some made-up shit, but the game's using his obscurity as its springboard. The conceit is that once upon a time, Mickey inadvertantly spilled paint thinner onto the magical model of Oswald's world, unknowingly leaving it scarred and twisted. Mickey goes on to fame and fortune, but Oswald and his people languish in this hellish Disney World, culminating in the kidnapping of Mickey to take revenge on him in their world.

Here are some glimpses of that world...
