Ketchup Bot Don't Give A Fuck

I have a suspicion this may have been funny mostly due to its presentation by John Rubio on his iPhone and the presence of alcohol, but at the LEOG recording last night we were cracking up at the ineptitude of the ketchup robot. And the outtakes were funnier. Both are presented for your perusal.

Non-Halloween Note

Finally played PORTAL through to the end. Damn, that was great.

In celebration, a completely strait-faced - one might even say harmonious - cover of the credit song:

(yeah, she fucked up the pronunciation of "mesa")

For the Transformers geeks: potential for an actual, good Transformers game

For once, it's not a hasty tie-in to a crappy movie, but an actual, dedicated game.

Setting is on Cybertron during the big wars before the Transformers came to earth.

Here's the opening cinematic:

Giant Robots Fuckin' Shit Up!

I've never been a *huge* Mechwarrior fan, but this trailer makes the game look like a lot of fun, and it's multi-platform, so I'm betting that means XBox Live multiplayer.

Neat.

I know nothing about this film and the Harry Knowles quote makes me nervous, but...

The trailer intrigues:

New TERMINATOR: SALVATION trailer

I'm kinda digging the Road Warrior aesthetic. Definitely a reinvention of the franchise.

Regret

New Terminators

There's a line in the teaser for the next Terminator flick, something like, "The future didn't happen the way my mother said it would." Seems like time-travel wonkiness has altered the rise of Skynet, in effect giving the writers the opportunity to break from the predistined beats of James Cameron's "Judgement Day." NOW...we know it'll never live up to the first two, but Christian Bale as John Connor seems cool, and these just-leaked concept art pieces do kick some ass:

*EDIT: meant to add that these look even cooler when biggie-sized. Click 'em!

Early Model Terminator (I'm told)

Big-Ass Mecha-Lookin' Terminator

Too Human

A 40k-esque video game trailer Randy wanted to have posted.
