And so, the Halloween Blogstravaganza returns! Once again, I'm shooting for at least one scaaaaaaary-themed post a day till Halloween, and everyone's invited to join in. Don't be shy. I know you're all freaks.

First up, because Nate was just talking about how the movie Trick 'R Treat is having trouble marketing itself, is the creepy little animated short that inspired it. I've attached the trailer for the movie itself afterwards. Note to Anna Paquin fetishists: this movie features Anna Paquin.

I believe this to just be a fan creation...

...but it's so cleverly staged that I was very impressed.

The Dark Knight... Kids Book?

You know how Dark Knight was not even remotely kid-friendly? Yeah, well, that didn't stop them doing a kids book based on the movie. With art by Cameron Stewart. It's not his best work. But then, can you blame him? There's more of this at Scans Daily.

This guy's site has been around for a while, but it's so stupidly cool I wanted to make sure it got some blog time. Long story short: Eric takes requests at his site to take pictures of himself conveying an emotion.
