Interesting French Short Film
It's about a man, having been struck by a 150-ton meteorite, who has to adapt to living precisely ninety-one centimeters from himself. It's a subdued film, slightly slow, but really neat.

Meet the Spy!
Wow, I thought they'd stop making these promos once Team Fortress 2 came out, but hallelujah, a new one!
(note: starts a little slow; becomes awesome)
Oh, hey, and I don't think I ever saw the Sniper one. Not as good, but good!

The Best Thing To Come Out of the Writers' Strike
OK, *maybe* Dr. Horrible is the best thing, but this is close. Conan O'Brien, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's "Who Made Mike Huckabee" feud comes to a boil. It's long, but if you're a fan of any of those three guys, it's worth it.
No...effin'...WAY.
A good Jean Claude Van Damme movie? A smart Jean Claude Van Damme movie?!
And here's the deal: the movie, titled JCVD, is a metacontext thing. It's about the real Van Damme...sorta...

And here's a review.
Did any of you Fantastic Fest attendees see this? Nate? Jason? I'm gonna be sad if it's anything but awesome.

Here's the description:
Between his tax problems and his legal battle with his wife for the custody of his daughter, these are hard times for the action movie star who finds that even Steven Seagal has pinched a role from him! In JCVD, Jean-Claude Van Damme returns to the country of his birth to seek the peace and tranquility he can no longer enjoy in the United States. Here's the trailer:

French Safe Sex Ads
These are by James Jean, so they are fucking gorgeous, but they also feature naked people in giant condoms swimming through a wonderland of genitals, so, yeah. Probably not safe for work. Linky Linky.

Gentleman's Duel
Kinda long, at 7 minutes, but worth it. One of the director/designers is Francisco Ruiz, who I believe might be the same guy as Francisco Ruiz Velasco, of the Dark Horse comic Battlegods.
