A Challenger Appears!

Figured I would throw this one into the ring, what with the rampant penguin & cat videos vying for attention. I felt that puppies needed to be considered.

Boob humor (dedicated to Mandy)

I might've posted this before, but I think I only meant to and never got around to it.

First, take a quick peek at this actual infomercial that inspired the parody. You only need to watch a few seconds.

And now the embittered (and totally justified) response:

Acapella Metal

Van Cantu's cover of Metallica's Battery

Chart I saw

...that visually explains why I think buying movies is more hostile to the consumer than piracy. I recently purchased Star Trek on Blu-Ray since I figured it would be a cool demo of the technology. I PURCHASED IT. Why the crap do I have to sit through a pile of trailers and adverts? I can't even hit the menu botton unless I just want to see "action prohibited" on the screen over and over again.

I want to pay for things; I really do. Now if the movie industry could just take a cue from music industry's use of iTunes, Amazon, etc and stop giving me reason after reason not to purchase their products.

/rant nobody asked to hear

A quick something to pass the time

Oh and DEFINITELY Not Safe for Work.

12 oz roll of sausage? Fuck that.

When Jimmy Dean Sausages went from 16 ounces to 12 ounces, this man had a problem. Listen, won't you, to the call he made to their consumer feedback line...

(the coda, after he thinks he's hung up, is priceless)

So I hadn't seen Star Wars in a while

...so I popped my copy of Jedi in the DVD player. I have the snazzy versions that had the unaltered, theatrical cut on the second disc so I don't have to watch the new fucked-with cuts.

Unfortunately to some technical mumbo jumbo that I don't want to get into, the new and altered cuts are in much better audio/visual quality. How bad could they really be? Maybe I just overreacted a bit the first time I saw them.

Ffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!11!1!!

In case you were wondering, they're still bad. No need to check for yourself.
