Web series of 10 episodes, about 6 minutes each. It wasn't amazing, but I enjoyed it. I think the short format was part of the experience though. I might actually suggest you DON'T sit and watch it all together. For those worried that it's some sort of religious thingie... it ain't.

So, Uh... My So Called Life
Is actually legitimately good, or at least the opening episode was.
I watched the opening episode from netflix streaming on a lark (and because I remember when it was on, my 16 year old self really wanting to fuck Angela and Rayanne silly) and really liked the first episode. The entire series is 19 episodes and available on netflix streaming. I liked it so much that I did an imdb search from my phone while I was watching it.

not like uber rad, but still pretty rad. Shawn Ryan (The Shield), Jason Clarke (Brotherhood), Delroy Lindo (Kidnapped) are all names that make me wanna be excited and hope for a move up from pretty to uber though
aaaaand it's on hulu, so there's actually a chance I'll watch it

This is the song we were talking about the other day from that particular scene on Breaking Bad that involves the foil balloons. I was mentioning that the band is actually Brazilian, and we talked about how that was probably intentional?
Well anyways, here's the song/video. The band uses A LOT of native tribal influences, especially when it comes to the percussion. This song in particular is hugely native tribal percussion in it's structure and arrangement. I know you're not one for the metal, but I really do suggest you listen to the first full minute before giving up on it.
Also, the video is all stop motion puppetry by the same chick that won a ton of awards doing stop motion puppetry videos for Tool. It's a super cool video even if you don't dig on the music, and you oughta at least watch it even if you have to mute the music :P
(as a bonus, there's a giant skull with a tongue made out of a creepy baby head bouquet at 2:50)

It's awesomely cheesy, but I imagine if I'd watched it as a kid it would have looked like the coolest thing I'd ever seen.
Walking Dead - San Diego Comic Con Trailer
It's a little grainy, but it's certainly watchable. Looks good to me.
New Conspiracy Show on AMC
Rubicon was previewed after the finale of Breaking Bad Season 3, and I just got around to watching it. It's slow-paced, has a '70s conspiracy feel to it, and seemed like the kind of things some folks here (especially Dave and D3) might dig. Check it out if you're so inclined, the first episode is streaming on AMC's website. Show starts in August.
LONESOME DOVE
Alright, western movie suggestion to all my peeps playin' Red Dead Redemption: famed miniseries Lonesome Dove. I just watched it for the first time recently and it was so good it immediately jumped up there with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Tombstone and Deadwood among my favorite westerns. It's tough as nails and it's got the best characters ever.
Foremost among them, Robert Duvall as Captain Augustus "Gus" McCrae. Let's watch a nice sleazy scene where Gus - a horny old scoundrel with a sly wit - tries to get a "poke" with the town whore:
