Bit of a wall of text on this one, but the story that unfolds has lots of creepy bits and even a "finale" of sorts. Apparently it's been optioned for a movie, too, as there's an IMDB page.
ok, I was digging the box story until they brought in the Nazis. then it strayed from nifty ghost story into wacko conspiracy theory territory.
ReplyDeletejust a pet peeve of mine i guess, but i get kinda...peeved...when paranormal explanations for "why Hitler was so evil" are proposed, even in such blatantly intentional fiction. lots of them out there, too.
Yeah, that part gave me pause as well, but there was enough I liked in it to post it.
