This has been out for a while, but it's directed by a fellow by the name of Neil Blomkamp. He's recently become Peter Jackson's protege, so it would seem, as I was telling Nick and Dave. If Peter Jackson's Halo movie ever takes off, he's the one at the helm. In order to get some more support (read: money) for the Halo movie, he also did some shorts, as well.

Wow, pretty impressive. Jason, did you say this guy's South African, or is that first clip another example - like we talked about a ways back - of using a foreign setting to heighten the verisimilitude of an exotic concept?
