It IS odd. I can only assume they wanted to spotlight some lesser known games and decided to forego Silent Hill in favor of its conceptual predecessor, Resident Evil.
Which is a bit insane. Resident Evil was great, but doesn't even come close to how oppressively scary Silent Hill is.
Just a quick list, but I was happy to see that X-Com made it. Even though it was an action/strategy game, it definitely had this oppressive, alien apocalypse quality to it.
No Silent Hill? Shameful.
