I have this notion that the whole thing was some sort of subliminal conditioning to the viewer. Sometime soon he'll take over all the nation's TV's, growl "Do the puppetmaster!" and have a legion of hynotized kiddie soldiers at his beck and call.
I'm not 100% on this, I should note. I'm just saying it's the most likely possibility and we should began planning the resistance movement now.
Boy, he'll do anything to avoid being typecast as Frodo.
